About me picture-Anabela Colatriani - Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario

My journey as a therapist is rooted in years of hands-on experience supporting children, youth, and adults through difficult and vulnerable moments. This work has shaped one of my deepest beliefs: therapy is not about “fixing” you or removing your pain, but about helping you understand your experiences and transform the way you carry them.

I believe that when we begin to relate to ourselves with compassion, curiosity, and self-awareness, we create space for resilience, connection, and meaningful change.

Today, I support individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, migration experiences, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply personalized, guided by respect for your unique life experiences, needs, and pace.

As an EMDR-trained Registered Psychotherapist, I integrate evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, DBT skills, narrative therapy and Polyvagal Theory to support emotional regulation, self-understanding, and the processing of difficult or “stuck” experiences. Together, we work toward helping you reconnect with yourself and move through life with greater clarity, steadiness, and compassion.
